Click [Reset to factory setting] in Settings > Maintenance > Firmware Update.

If the screen is black after boot, and the Popcorn Hour splash screen can be seen during boot, then you probably have an incorrect setting for your display. To correct this, push the button [TV mode] on your remote, release the key and push [0], after the which the display settings should be temporarily switched to “auto detect”.
