How to transfer domain to new registrar
- Backup your DNS settings for the domain (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Unlock domain
- Remove privacy protection
- Initiate domain transfer out with old registrar and obtain Auth (Authorization) code
- Purchase domain transfer with new registrar and enter Auth code
- Approve domain transfer with old registrar
- Wait for new registrar to acknowledge transfer
