  - "adduser" the user to grant access by ftp
  - add the user to the group "www-data" in /etc/group file
  - add in /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf<code>DefaultRoot /home/%u/ftp</code>
  - symbolic link to the template directory<code>ln -s /path/to/templates ftp</code>
